Emotional Literacy training

Emotional Literacy is the term used to describe the ability to understand and express feelings. There is growing concern about children’s ability to develop emotional literacy and to be able to express their feelings. This impacts on students’ attainment and behaviour detrimentally.

The course covers:

• Introduction to emotional literacy in schools
• Understanding reasons behind emotional literacy gaps in children
• Current theories and practice relating to emotional literacy
• Psychology of the brain
• Strategies to helps

Who is it for?

SENCO’s, HLTA, TA’s, Mentors and Teachers to gain practical skills in developing the child’s emotional literacy.

Course costs (online or in person)

Full day training:

£800 for 4 - 25 people, £1050 for 25 - 50 people, £1300 for 50 - 75 people.

Half day training:

£350 for for 4 - 25 people, £600 for 25 - 50 people, £850 for 50 - 75 people.
