Behaviour Support Training Specialists
This course covers: personal safety, team building, non verbal and verbal de-escalation communication strategies, positive handling techniques, together with documentation and legal guidance, listening and learning, recording, reporting and reviewing. It is suitable for medium risk settings and has elements of physical intervention.
Audience: Early Years, Primary staff and SEN settings

Cost: £130 per person + VAT (lunch is not included)

Notes: A minimum of three members of staff, including a member of SLT, need to book onto this course, unless a member of SLT has a current Team-Teach certificate. This course is only for Hillingdon schools.

The platform forms part of how training is delivered and membership to it is also a condition of certification.
