Behaviour Support Training Specialists
This course covers: personal safety, team building, non verbal and verbal de-escalation communication strategies, positive handling techniques, together with documentation and legal guidance, listening and learning, recording, reporting and reviewing.
Audience: Early Years, Primary staff and SEN settings
Venue: This shared training takes place at a host school in the Hillingdon Borough.
Cost: £100 per person + VAT (lunch is not included)

Notes: A minimum of three members of staff, including a member of SLT, need to book onto this course, unless a member of SLT has a current Team-Teach certificate. This course is only for Hillingdon school.
Aimed at low risk service settings: Mainstream Schools (Early Years - Post - 16).
This course covers: personal safety, team building, non verbal and verbal de-escalation communication strategies, positive handling techniques (optional), together with documentation and legal guidance, listening and learning, recording, reporting and reviewing.
An initial visit by the lead trainer, meeting with management, will determine the content of the course.
For up to 12 participants: £1,150 plus trainer expenses
For up to 24 participants: £2,300 plus trainer expenses
Our closed, ‘in-house’ courses are designed for 12, 24, 36 or 48 participants. Fewer participants may attend, but you will be billed in units of 12 participants. Prices given are exclusive of VAT and trainer expenses.
We can offer up to 40% off Team-Teach courses for the London Boroughs of Hillingdon, and Highbury & Islington.

Aimed at medium risk service settings: SEN Schools, Pupil Referral Units, Mainstream Schools with high SEN provision.

These courses are bespoke and designed for specific workplaces.
An initial visit by the lead trainer, meeting with management, will determine the content of the course.

For up to 24 participants: £3,900 plus trainer expenses

Advanced Modules aimed at high risk service settings: Secure Schools, residential SEMH schools. These modules cover personal safety, risk reductions strategies, a range of positive handling and interventions in response to dangerous behaviour.
Areas covered: Everyday objects used as weapons, transport and safe ground hold positions.
An initial visit by the lead trainer, meeting with management, will determine the content of the course.
Team-Teach courses are delivered “in house” to meet specific workplace behavioural safety needs.
For up to 8 participants: £1,150 plus trainer expenses
For up to 16 participants: £2,300 plus trainer expenses
This course is designed for groups of 8 or 16 participants. Fewer participants may attend, but you will be billed in units of 8 participants. Prices given are exclusive of VAT and trainer expenses.

PLEASE NOTE: Enrolment on any Team Teach course, requires membership to their new platform; Team Teach Connect. The platform forms part of how training is delivered and membership to it is also a condition of certification. The annual membership fee is £150 + VAT (which includes a 25% discount) and will be payable by you following completion of the course on receipt of the invoice.
